By definition a bibliophile is a person who loves books. By practice, a bibliophile is one of those people who drive their library nuts and is known by sight at their local book store, at least that's what's true in my case.

By practice, a knitter can be anyone and if you ask them they will say that they do a whole lot more then intertwine some yarn using simple loops.

By definition Ravelry.com is a free online knit and crochet community which contains thousands of free patterns and as of November First, 1 million members. By practice, Ravelry is facebook for knitters, but a whole lot more fun.
