Fiber Obsession

Word for the Week: Obsession-the domination of one's thoughts by one's desires.

Reasons why learning how to spin is a very good idea:
It's an ancient craft with history and heritage.
Gives one the pleasure of the knowledge that you are making something for yourself.
You get to make your own yarn for crafting.

Reasons why learning to spin is a very bad idea:
Because there's very pretty stuff out there, spindle and fiber wise, and I want's it all.
I'm broke, or pratically broke.

My current obsessions:

Barebones spindle: Simple, pratical, inexpensive, yet elegant

Undyed Ashland Bay Corriedale--Because it's nice to have something simple to start with

Because Christina Potter's Rovings are not only pretty, but cheap too!
